We are going to Thailand in 2018! Join The Center for Music Therapy in End of Life Care January 10-20, 2018 for our “Practicing Mindfulness and Cultural Competence in Music Therapy” taught by Drs. Russell Hilliard and Dena Register.

This institute is designed for practitioners to learn and apply mindfulness as a key self-care strategy to prevent burn out and compassion fatigue and expand assessment and interventions to incorporate diverse cultures. This course includes repertoire development, clinical rounds at Siriraj Hospital and an orphanage in Bangkok, Thai massage and other mindful self-care strategies, and cultural excursions.
