Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have moved all CMTE opportunities to a virtual platform.
Unless otherwise noted in course description, all CMTE opportunities will be a mix of asynchronous learning and live (virtual) synchronous training.
About Us
The Center for Music Therapy in End of Life Care is dedicated to providing board-certified music therapists (MT-BC) with a dynamic educational experience that will prepare them to serve people with advanced illnesses and their families through the continuum of end-of-life and bereavement.
~ seeks to further the breadth and depth of research evaluating the effects of music therapy in end-of-life and bereavement care and disseminate research findings to healthcare providers and the community at large
~ advocates for the expansion of music therapy services to further increase access to needed services by patients and families

Earn A Certificate in Hospice & Palliative Care Music Therapy
Participants taking CMTE courses at the Center may earn the Hospice & Palliative Care Music Therapy (HPMT) Certificate upon the completion of our four institutes. Institutes do not have to be taken in any sequence or within any time frame. To learn more, click here.
